ANGELA D. KENDALL, MISSION COMMANDER
Angela Kendall has spearheaded marketing campaigns with dramatic ROI for over 20 years. She has served multiple start-up and early stage companies – many affiliated with larger global companies like Lockheed Martin Missiles and Firearms, Boeing, etc. She has crafted strategic marketing & business plans enabling companies raise, in the past 12 years, upwards of $100 million in start-up revenues. She has carried these companies through launch and exit strategies like successful IPOs or buyouts.
Angela owns Spark Rocket Marketing, a full service marketing-communications firm, offering services including strategic marketing planning, brand and collateral development, press and public relations and digital/web-based media solutions. The company specializes in B2B marketing largely for technology manufacturers from industries like security, communications, pharmaceuticals, energy, chemistry and commercial construction.
Spark Rocket Marketing was introduced in 2011 as a spin-off of Kendall’s DKD Marketing. Spark Rocket began by specializing in “launches” for start-ups, with an ability to take a small spark of an idea and apply rocket-sized creativity and strategy to get a client’s campaign off the ground, generating stratospheric ROI. Picture flash mobs, dancing hamsters, Groucho Marx glasses, flying pigs and zombies (yes, zombies) and you have an idea of the type of engagement events that are Spark Rocket’s portfolio. The company’s unique brand came to be associated with extreme ROI on marketing communications, so the company adopted the Spark Rocket brand for all services in 2015.
Through her companies and personally, Angela has represented technology stalwarts like HID Global, AXIS Communications, Momentive, Deister Electronics and companies commercializing technology out of Lockheed Martin, Harris Group and Boeing. Conversely, she has supported the marketing needs of dozens of emerging technology companies because of her passion for entrepreneurialism.
Not content to only service technology clients, but also those who dramatically impact communities through good works, Angela has served both as paid consultant and volunteer expert to non-profits like the March of Dimes, the American Cancer Society, Mission 500/World Vision, Give Kids the World and the Kaufman Foundation’s 1Million Cups.
